Ben has been wearing this pendant for about 4/5 weeks. Scent was strong to start with then it seemed to settle. I was skeptical, but I am so glad I got it. Ben loves woodland walks and here in Scotland we have loads of ticks. It took about 10 days to stop ticks going on him. But since then I have not found any on him at all. I still check due to habbit, but really don't need too. It's great, doesn't bother him at all. Will definitely replace it next year.
My dog Harvey ran about Glen Nevis for 7 days wearing this plus he was also in the long grass, swimming in lochs and it was absolutely fine no ticks on him, but my daughter got a tick bite the 2nd day there and I had to use his tick kit to get it off her!!! I’ve been using SafePaws™ on my Kelpie for about a month now and I’m genuinely happy with it. Love the ideas , very very disappointing that it doesn’t fit a 25mm/1 inch wide collar so is useless for bigger dogs. Hope in the future you take collar size into consideration for what otherwise is a perfect product.
I feel happier that the flea and tick preventative is not full of chemicals. One of my dogs have epilepsy, I don't want her to have anymore chemicals than she is already with her meds. I wanted a more natural and gentle way of dettering fleas and ticks and so fa, especially with the really dry weather we've had, it has worked. I'm really glad that it lasts a year too, as these Insects are around for longer now.

Only giving it a 3 because they work well for the bugs. But they fall out of the holder and my dog ate one and was so sick. It happened two times.
